About
To Equip & Inspire
Started as an Obama-Chesky Voyager Project, Design for Bangladesh is an unparalleled opportunity for 10 low-income Bangladeshi university students, from a diverse set of backgrounds, to learn and apply design-thinking to innovate ideas to some of Bangladesh's most pressing challenges.
Over 8 weeks, students will be taught about design-thinking, useful programming tools for prototyping, and policy analysis to deepen their understanding of product development. They will also hear from incredible industry designers and entrepreneurs. Alongside this, students will team up in order to apply design-thinking to develop their own idea for an issue they want to try and solve in Bangladesh. They will cap it off by presenting their idea and evaluating its long-term impact.
